We’ve had two relaxing rest days at Chitimba beach at Lake Malawi—time mostly spent eating, drinking and chilling.
A few of us visited the surrounding hills for great views down to the lake.
Muzz organized a trip for us to visit the Manchewe Falls (125m heigh waterfall) . . .
. . . as well as the Stonehouse Museum in Livingstonia.
We also went for lunch near our camp for a more authentic local village experience, including fish from Lake Malawi.
As some of you had asked for photos of creepy crawlies, here a centipede inside my tent—not too creepy, but crawling faster than I could zip up the flap. These centipedes seem to be very common in Eastern Africa.
