It’s almost four months since we cycled into Cape Town. Finally, here’s a video that I had promised months ago. Hope you like it. 🙂

Hi Alex,
I had a doubt today as to which country is actually called the Switzerland of Africa and I randomly bumped into your article.
I’m an Indian National working in dubai but I travel across east Africa as part of my job with a Dairy firm. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed reading your blog. It was awesome. Congarts on completing the tour and that too riding it EFI. All power to you.
I felt like I was rising along with you guys especially from when you entered Rwanda. The info on Kigali, Kampala, jinji, Mbarara (I’m actually sitting in Mbarara reading your article), Arusha, Mbeya, mwanza, nairobi, kisumu, the equator crossing brought back some insane memories I have of these place. I’ve been to these places not on a bike but am in love with the raw beauty this continents provides. Your blog just made me appreciate that I too had an opportunity to visit them. Now I want to see Windhoek very much thanks to you.
TIA is a sentiment and it needs to be respected here. I totally get your experiences having gone through most. But having don’t thus by cycling. Just wow !! I have so much respect right now.
I’m not an athlete, far from it. I’d qualify for a sleeping competition. But your story has made me think, why can’t i do it. I think I’ll work towards doing this one day in my life. Thank you.
Hi Rohit, thanks so much for your message and so sorry for my late reply. I haven’t logged in to this blog for a while and only just saw it now. So happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the blog, and that perhaps it also inspired you to cycle through Africa. Yes, you don’t need to be an athlete to do that. If I could, then you can do it too!
Yes, Windhoek is lovely! And been up Kilimanjaro yet? 😉
